  7.     Falls das Programm sehr früh abstürzen sollte,
  8.     oder Fehlermeldungen bringt, dann beachten
  9.     Sie bitte folgende Checkliste:
  10.  
  11.        1. Wurde die wizard.library installiert ?
  12.           Falls nicht: bitte nachholen, und erneut probieren.
  13.  
  14.        2. Wurde die superview.library installiert ?
  15.           Falls nicht: bitte nachholen, und erneut probieren.
  16.  
  17.        3. Ist MCP oder ein verwandtes Patch-Tool installiert ?
  18.           Falls ja: bitte alle Patches desaktivieren,
  19.           und ggf. erst sukzessive wieder aktivieren.
  20.           Zwischenzeitlich: bitte erneut probieren.
  21.  
  22.        4. Stürzt die superview.library während der
  23.           Initialisierung ab ?
  24.           Falls ja: Prüfen Sie, ob Reste einer Picasso96-
  25.           Installation oder einer anderer RTG-Emulation
  26.           installatiert sind, die sich nicht miteinander
  27.           oder mit AGA/CyberGraphics vertragen.
  28.           Sie können notfalls überflüssige SVDriver einfach
  29.           aus LIBS:svdrivers/ löschen.
  30.           Danach: bitte erneut probieren.
  31.  
  32.           Außerdem: es gibt da einen Picasso96API.library-Ersatz für
  33.           CyberGraphX, geschrieben von by Steffen Haeuser. V20.0
  34.           produziert während des Öffnens eine Reihe von Enforcer Hits.
  35.           Sie sollten entweder: es löschen, den Picasso96.svdriver löschen,
  36.           eine neue Version installieren.
  37.           Danach: bitte erneut probieren.
  38.  
  39.        5. Das Tool "SnoopDOS" kann sehr nützlich sein, um
  40.           Crashursachen festzustellen. Man kann z.B. sukzessive
  41.           alle Module, die Crashes verursachen aus LIBS:svdrivers/
  42.           LIBS:svobjects/ oder LIBS:svoperators/ löschen.
  43.           Allerdings kann es sein, daß SnoopDOS V3 selbst
  44.           Abstürze verursacht, falls unter Functions auch die
  45.           Überwachung der System-Funktion OpenLibrary()
  46.           aktiviert ist. Sie sollten dies vorsichtshalber während
  47.           der Überwachung deaktivieren, und sich lediglich notieren,
  48.           an welcher Stelle (LoadSeg-Funktion) ein Crash stattfindet.
  49.           Aktivieren Sie hierzu die Logfile-Funktion und lassen sie
  50.           das Logfile entweder in eine resetfeste Ramdisk oder auf
  51.           eine normale Diskette speichern.

  53.        6. Lesen Sie in SuperViewLibrary/docs/SuperView-Library.guide
  54.           den Abschnitt "Known bugs and workarounds" [ ENGLISCH ]

  59.     If the program does crash very early, or gives
  60.     error messages, please consult the following
  61.     checklist:

  63.        1. Has the wizard.library been installed ?
  64.           If not: please do it and try again.

  66.        2. Has the superview.library been installed ?
  67.           If not: please do it and try again.

  69.        3. Has MCP or a similar patch-tool been installed ?
  70.           If so: please disable all patches and maybe
  71.           later try enabling one after an other again.
  72.           In the meantime: please try again.

  74.        4. Does the superview.library crash during its
  75.           initialization phase ?

  77.           If so: please check, whether rests of a Picasso96
  78.           installation or another RTG emulation still are
  79.           present, which dont't work together with each
  80.           other or with AGA/CyberGraphics.
  81.           If you can't find anything, you may delete unused
  82.           SVDrivers from LIBS:svdrivers/
  83.           After that: please try again.

  85.           Also: there's a Picasso96API.library replacement for
  86.           CyberGraphX, written by Steffen Haeuser. V20.0 does
  87.           produce a couple of Enforcer hits when being opened.
  88.           You may either: remove it, remove Picasso96.svdriver,
  89.           upgrade to a bug-fixed version.
  90.           After that: please try again.

  92.        5. The tool "SnoopDOS" can be very useful, to find out
  93.           about reasons for crashes. For example, it is possible
  94.           to delete all modules that cause crashes, one after
  95.           an other from LIBS:svdrivers/ , LIBS:svobjects/
  96.           or LIBS:svoperators/
  97.           But it is possible, that SnoopDOS V3 itself does cause
  98.           crashes, when under Functions there's snooping of the
  99.           system function OpenLibrary() has been enabled.
  100.           For reasons of safety you should disable this during the
  101.           debugging session, and just make a note about at which
  102.           place a crash does take place (LoadSeg function).
  103.           For reaching this goal, activate the logfile function and
  104.           either let the logfile be saved into a reset-resistent
  105.           ramdisk or onto a normal floppy disk.
